This is an article written by AEJIS about my tip to IMEX last week.
AEJIS were among thousands of ‘movers & shakers’ and decisionmakers who descended on Frankfurt this week for IMEX2015 – a global exhibition focusing on the world of incentive travel, meetings & events.
Events Manager Nicole Evans had a cram packed schedule, meeting with potential suppliers from across the globe – Asia, Europe and the USA – as she sought out new business opportunities and partnerships, to enable us to offer our clients the very best in corporate hospitality.
Nicole said: “One of the main reasons for attending was to form stronger venue relationships, secure better deals and prices, meet like-minded colleagues from all over the world in a couple of days, and gather a rich harvest of fresh and progressive incentive and prize winner ideas.”
With back-to-back meetings with tourist boards, international hotel chains, airlines and golf resorts, to name but a few, Nicole said it was 48-hours very well spent, ensuring AEJIS stay at the forefront of established and emerging markets and trends.
Having held discussions with new contacts as far afield as China and Las Vegas, it was a supplier a little closer to home who made a lasting impression on Nicole.
Abbey Road Studios in London – that would be the Abbey Road Studios of The Beatles walking on a zebra crossing fame – have a very attractive and novel proposition of VIP ‘record a song packages’ whereby competition prize winners can emulate John, Paul, Ringo & George, and make a record/CD, all branded with their own company logo.
A novel entry into the world of pop & rock music – maybe even a bit of rap and reggae, who knows – is just one of a number of ideas now under consideration by AEJIS, for clients who demand something different.
“It was very informative with loads of networking opportunities and ultimately it’ll be our clients who are the real winners,” said an inspired and invigorated Nicole, who now can’t wait to start exploring and exploiting a raft of fresh ideas and concepts.
